It was a pleasure to be featured in "Osera" March-April issues as one of the highlights for Hong Kong visits. "Osera" is a magazine published in Okayama Prefecture in Japan. The beautiful images of the city inside are promoted by the Okayama Airport Authorities for cultural exchange among Okayama, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
It was an honor to present our work at Parsons School of Design on 13th Nov. 2017. Thanks to Mei Mei Rado of Parson, a fashion historian and curator of MoMA The Museum of Modern Art & The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York and Anita Tsang of Cheongsam Connect for making it happened. The 2 hours talk by Cheongsam Connect covered the past, present and future of Hong Kong Cheongsam, its uniqueness , and important role in the sustainability of this beautiful legacy. Our presentation mainly focused on algorithmic design practice, of how it affect the new aesthetic on colour, texture and textile design. Our talk covered algorithmic templates, of how its data base implementation coincide with Google art project/open access and eventually to optimize production through different colour/texture attributes.
